HERMOSO Available Here

Benny Blanco is stepping into a new sound with the release of his latest studio album, Hermoso, an eight-track project that brings together some of the biggest and most exciting names across Latin and pop music.

The 12-time GRAMMY-nominated producer has spent more than a decade behind some of pop music’s biggest hits, but Hermoso shifts the focus toward the sounds and artists currently inspiring him. Across the album, Blanco moves between cumbia, reggaeton, pop and electronic influences while leaving plenty of room for each collaborator to bring their own identity to the project.

The album features Selena Gomez, Becky G, Myke Towers, Mora, The Marías, Bb trickz and Neton Vega, alongside producer Ovy On The Drums.

Hermoso opens with “Un Poco Perdido” featuring Neton Vega before moving into “Te Olvido (La La),” a collaboration with Selena Gomez and Becky G built around a booming cumbia rhythm and pop-heavy melody.

Elsewhere, Bb trickz joins Blanco on the French house-inspired “Joven Y Salvaje,” while The Marías appear on “Memoria De Paz.” Mora and Ovy On The Drums team up for “Ay Bendito.”

One of the album’s biggest moments comes with “DEGENERE” featuring Myke Towers. The track incorporates the instantly recognizable vocal hook from Suzanne Vega’s 1987 hit “Tom’s Diner,” pairing it with a Latin pop and reggaeton production. “Te Amo” and “Cinco” round out the eight-track release.

Rather than sticking to a single genre, Hermoso plays more like a snapshot of Blanco’s current musical interests, bringing together artists and sounds from across Latin music while maintaining the pop instincts that have defined much of his career.

Hermoso is out now.
